Ted Kooshian: Guestbook

Allison Dibley

July 9, 2008

Hey Ted,
I don't know if you'll remember me but we played the Bolling Suite for Flute & Jazz Piano together when we were seniors in high school. I think you broke your wrist or something before our second performance. Anyway, hello. Looking forward to listening to your CDs. I played the Bolling Suite in college and the pianist I worked with was not nearly as good as you were and he was quite a bit older/more experienced.

Hope you're well.

Ted...Any link between your tune 'Black Dog' and the title of Peter Balakian's book, "Black Dog Of Fate"?

I must admit the only reason I found this site is because I was looking for an old music buddy, Dick Sarpola. You guys have a great sound! Keep it up ... and have fun!

Ted! I seriously think you need to add Superbug, Supercow, and Superhorse to your site. I'm liking all the pictures, but I think folks should see your early genius, too.

My name is auspiciously missing form your resume. I'm hurt. After enduring Wolfgang Boksch together, too! How are you doing Ted? For some reason, your name popped into my mind a few seconds ago, and I thought I'd do an internet search and look for you. IF you see Meecham, say hi for me, although I'll probably look for him too. Take care. JH
