Ed Palermo Big Band

This is a band in which I play keyboards. We do a lot of Frank Zappa material, all beautifully arranged by Ed Palermo. He has me playing organ parts, xylophone and timpani parts, string parts, etc. It's a great band and a lot of fun. Our third CD of Zappa music, called "Eddy Loves Frank," was released in May 2009. We also perform an annual outdoor blues concert every August, in Mountainside, New Jersey.

Rick Wald
Another big band, in which I play piano. This is mostly original music by Rick Wald, plus a few of Rick's arrangements of some classic jazz tunes – really unique and exciting writing. We have released two CD's – "Castaneda's Dreams" (2006) and "Play That Thing" (2008).

Judy Barnett
A great singer, with whom I've worked and recorded for many years. In the past few years we have been writing together as well. Our song "Hamlet Lost" was nominated for a MAC Award last year, and this year our song "Whacked!" was nominated. Our song "Bummer Summer" appears on our latest CD, "Too Darn Hot."

Michael Andrew
Michael is a very talented singer/entertainer with whom I've worked off and on in a variety of settings. His successful retro- band "Swingerhead" performs his original music plus American standards throughout the country. He is currently working with Jerry Lewis on a musical version of the film "The Nutty Professor."

This is the website of the amazing saxophonist Jeff Lederer, who plays in my Standard Orbit Quartet. Check out his two "Shakers N' Bakers" CD's.
